Autogem’s commitment to the development of automotive technicians has been reinforced through our Knowledge Hub training platform, where nearly 900 professionals have benefited from more than 5,000 hours of training in just six months.

The interactive, free online portal is testament to our partnership philosophy, where the purchase of an aftermarket item is seen as being just the beginning of a long-term relationship.

The Knowledge Hub provides an easy, step-by-step guide for our customers to follow, saving valuable time and raising standards simultaneously. It represents the third edition of our online training provision and allows for multiple courses to be rolled out simultaneously – while also being a go-to platform for forthcoming solutions.

Topics include TPMS inspection, customer engagement and fault resolution. A series of bite-sized videos are designed to work around a technician’s busy schedule and certificates are also awarded upon the completion of interactive quizzes.

The platform is more evidence of our long-term pledge to innovate in order to empower the industry and strengthens an existing training programme that is already one of the most comprehensive in the business.

It has used lessons learned from past Under Pressure competitions to identify skills and knowledge gaps across the industry and this latest edition of training content has been revised to reflect this data.

Managing Director, Prashant Chopra, said: “It’s really rewarding to see such a huge uptake of Knowledge Hub in such a short space of time. We think it’s an incredible platform. With the ongoing shortage of skilled technicians in the industry, we saw an opportunity to provide free, flexible training that empowers technicians to excel. By listening to our customers and leaning on our many years of experience, we’ve crafted a solution that sets a new benchmark for industry training.”

A cornerstone of our approach is a refusal to charge for any of its courses.

Prashant added: “Training has never been about making money for us; it’s about raising standards and developing more rounded, talented professionals. By not charging a penny, we ensure that every technician – regardless of experience or budget – has access to world-class development opportunities.

“Customer feedback has been instrumental in shaping this programme and we’re proud to invest in the growth of our customers and the industry as a whole.”
