Autogem is celebrating a remarkable double success at the 2025 National Tyre Distributors Association Awards, claiming both the Aftermarket Equipment Supplier of the Year and Staff Training & Development Initiative of the Year titles for a second time in three years.

The twin triumph underscores our position as one of the UK aftermarket’s most trusted innovators and highlights a company culture built firmly on teamwork, loyalty and shared purpose.

Managing Director Prashant Chopra said the back-to-back wins were a fitting reflection of the team’s continued passion and perseverance. “To win one NTDA Award is special. To win two, and for the second time in three years, is simply incredible. I’m so proud of everyone at Autogem for what we’ve achieved together,” he said.

“These awards are for a group of people who care deeply about what they do, who support each other through everything and who never stop striving to make a difference.”

Our ‘Under Pressure ’25 TPMS competition played a starring role in the successes, helping to earn the Staff Training & Development Initiative of the Year accolade thanks to record-breaking participation and engagement across the UK.

Now in its fourth year, Under Pressure ’25 attracted technicians from over 1,000 retail sites and hosted 16 finalists at the Pirelli Performance Centre in Burton-on-Trent, in what many described as the most polished and inspiring event yet.

The competition once again showcased our long-term commitment to elevating industry standards, by building technician confidence and closing knowledge gaps across the aftermarket.

“We’ve seen more technicians than ever take part, more trophies handed out, and more lessons learned,” Prashant added. “It’s become far more than a competition; it’s a platform for progress and something we’re all extremely passionate about. The feedback and collaboration that we receive drives us to keep evolving our training, our tools, and our support for customers.”

A culture built on people

Our success, however, goes beyond products, training and innovation. At its heart

lies a powerful sense of togetherness. Some team members have been part of the journey for decades, helping to build a workplace defined by loyalty, kindness and camaraderie.

“It’s like a family,” Prashant said. “People genuinely check in on each other here, not because they’re told to, but because they want to. We’re not a transactional business at Autogem and I believe that this is rare. It’s what’s has carried us through the highs and the lows.”

We also continue to honour the memory of Adam Livett, a much-loved colleague whose warmth and spirit remain an inspiration to us all.

“Adam’s legacy runs through everything we do,” Prashant added. “He embodied the values we stand for – positivity, empathy, and a genuine love for people. We’ll never forget him.”

The Aftermarket Equipment Supplier of the Year award also serves as recognition of our ongoing partnership philosophy, providing the right solutions and support to over 5,000 workshops nationwide. From cutting-edge TPMS technology to innovative training and technical assistance, we continue to set the benchmark for excellence and reliability.

“We’ve always believed that real progress happens through partnership,” Prashant concluded. “Our customers, suppliers and colleagues all play their part in this story. These awards are for them; for trusting us, challenging us, and helping us get better every single day.”
