Autogem is raising the roof as it installs more than 100 solar panels to pave the way for a greener future.
The significant investment has been made at its North London headquarters and comprises a 42kWp system and 105 solar panels.
It is hoped that the panels will cover around one-third of all of Autogem’s entire annual electrical demand according to simulations.
Autogem’s Managing Director Prashant Chopra said: “We have been recycling our cardboard and plastic waste for decades now as well as driving down packaging and unnecessary waste.
“This solar installation represents the next step towards reducing our carbon footprint. We look forward to seeing how power generation and battery storage technology develops over the years before further green energy investment.
“We’d also like to say a big thank you to S-Tec for a very professional installation.”
With the price of our energy bills rising in an unpredictable world, the forward-thinking decision is expected to pay off for Autogem in the long-term, as it aims to position itself as an environmentally conscious aftermarket supplier.
