Autogem is set to bring its ‘Beyond the Transactional’ philosophy to life at this year’s UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, with a brand-new stand concept, cutting-edge TPMS technology and expert business insight all taking centre stage.

We will exhibit across June 3 and 4, where we’ll showcase how our customer-first approach is helping garages, tyre retailers and workshops unlock new levels of confidence, professionalism and profitability.

At the heart of our presence will be a fresh stand design built around its ‘Beyond the Transactional’ ethos – a message that reflects our belief in building meaningful, long-term relationships with customers rather than simply supplying products.

For us, success comes from understanding the individual needs of every business, regardless of size, and providing tailored support, training and solutions that genuinely make a difference to workshop performance.

Visitors to our stand will also be able to experience the latest evolution in TPMS diagnostics, the i-Sensor EVO, which further reinforces our standing as one of the aftermarket’s leading lights in the TPMS sector.

The groundbreaking handheld tool has been designed to simplify TPMS diagnostics for modern workshops at a time when the industry is seeing growing numbers of sensor failures, 12 years on from the introduction of UK TPMS legislation.

Equipped with a Bluetooth wireless OBD-II adapter, the i-Sensor EVO allows technicians to communicate seamlessly with a vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU), enabling TPMS error codes to be read, written and cleared quickly and efficiently. The tool can also extract TPMS data directly from the ECU, helping technicians diagnose faults accurately while eliminating common frustrations, such as missing ID codes on aftermarket sensors.

However, we will make the point that successful TPMS servicing is about far more than simply having the right tool alone.

We believe that workshops can unlock significant additional revenue opportunities through a complete TPMS programme that combines technology, training and customer engagement, which is an approach that will be brought to life throughout the show.

Managing Director Prashant Chopra will also share his insights in the Business Management Theatre on June 3 between 2.55pm and 3.30pm, as part of a session he will be hosting, entitled ‘From Supplier to Strategic Partner: Winning as One.’

Prashant said: “The industry has evolved enormously over the last decade and workshops need more than products from their suppliers – they need support, education and genuine partnership.

“TPMS is a perfect example. Our tools are second-to-none when it comes to diagnostics and resolution, but many businesses still face challenges around inspection procedures and customer engagement. That’s where our training and support really come into their own.

“There is still a significant opportunity for garages and depots to grow TPMS revenue, but confidence is absolutely key. Too much work is still being lost because technicians feel intimidated by TPMS or lack the confidence to engage with it fully.

“When technicians are properly supported and trained, everything changes. They become more confident in identifying issues, explaining the importance of TPMS to customers and ultimately delivering a better overall service.

“That’s what ‘Beyond the Transactional’ really means to us. We’re not here simply to take orders. We want to understand businesses, support them and help them unlock opportunities they may not even realise exist.”

We encourage workshop owners, centre managers and technicians attending the event to visit the stand and discover how the company’s TPMS programmes, workshop solutions and hands-on support can help future-proof their businesses in an increasingly technology-driven aftermarket.
