Autogem is putting technicians on a pedestal in 2022, courtesy of an industry first competition to discover the UK’s ‘TPMS Expert’.

Having trained thousands of technicians for more than a decade, we’re on the hunt for the most talented professional when it comes to diagnosing, communicating and resolving TPMS issues.

With over 3,500 workshops and mobile fitters using our exclusive and patented i-sensor® technology, the competition is now open to most of the UK’s largest and most respected tyre retailers and specialist tyre related workshops that use our I-sensor programming tools.

Qualifying 27th-29th April 2022

Qualifying will be in the form of a multiple choice online game show.  Points will be awarded for speed and accuracy and we will be measuring entrants understanding of Inspection, engagement and resolution as well as having a knowledge of the various software functions and support solutions that make up the Think TPMS Think Autogem programme. Everyone is a winner as all entrants will receive tips and tricks in advance of the qualifying rounds and will also be given a free tpms tune up session at the end of their qualifying session and be entered into our prize draw. Prizes include a pair of tickets to the British GT championship on 10th & 11Th September and a selection of Autogem vouchers.

Final 8th June 2022, NEC Birmingham

Twelve finalists will be chosen from qualifying and will be invited to take part in the final at the Garage & Bodyshop Event on June 8th at the NEC Birmingham.

A panel of independent judges – featuring some high profile industry figures – will assess the finalists’ ability to diagnose TPMS problems, the way they are communicated thereafter and the action taken to provide a quick and effective solution. All activity will be against the clock in conditions similar to a typical workshop using our exclusive i-sensor equipment.

Besides tremendous PR, bragging rights, photos trophies and certificates there will also be prizes from our co-sponsors; Autotech Training  and Michelin Pro Series wiper blades.

The overall winner will be able to choose to receive either receive a fully loaded Teng Tools box worth over £1200 or an iPhone 13, with the alternative prize going to the second category winner.

The category runner ups will each receive a Level 3 IMI EV and Hybrid training course and some additional prizes for the remaining 8 finalists.

All finalists will also receive a Michelin goodie bag.
