Autogem is refusing to let lockdown dictate to the aftermarket and has decided to do some of the talking instead, courtesy of an all-new online appointment booking service for our customers.

We have created a new resource for dealers and garages to make the most of – all at the click of a mouse and an online video call thereafter.

Our TPMS solutions are amongst the most comprehensive in the industry, geared around saving time, improving end-user engagement and increasing revenue streams for businesses.

But with lockdown imposing its own unique restrictions on traditional face-to-face interaction, we have created an unlimited number of free ‘TPMS tune-up sessions’ for our installer partner customers to benefit from.

We came up with the service as we look ahead to the future and anticipate an increase in tyre related issues amongst motorists as more people start returning to work.

All existing Autogem i-sensor users need to do is to book an online TPMS tune up session during the slot times available to discuss their TPMS experience with a member of our technical team. The objective of the session to is point the installer partner to the relevant tools, support and training to help tune up their TPMS sensor and service kit sales.

We are also extending the online appointment booking service out to other exclusive products from our portfolio too, including its Groove Glove and TreadSpec technology, not to mention Michelin Pro-Series Wiper Blades.

Managing Director Prashant Chopra said: “Following on from a wonderful response to our recent online webinars, we decided to increase the opportunity for more virtual contact with our friendly team. The TPMS tune-up and product consultation sessions are designed to offer convenience to our customers during this prolonged period of social distancing. A chance to tune up their TPMS sales but also to explore the many other exclusive product ranges we supply.

“We know it is a hard time on forecourts up and down the country right now, but we want to provide our support, particularly as we expect trade to increase as lockdown and MOT restrictions are gradually eased.

“There may well be more tyre related bookings for dealers as so many cars have been sat stationary for a long period of time. Our tune-up sessions are designed to support them ahead of what we all hope will be an increased period of activity.”

In addition to the ‘TPMS tune-up sessions’, we continue to lead the way in online solutions elsewhere. Our ordering platform at www.shop.autogem.co.uk allows workshops and dealers to create their own wish lists and conveniently order 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The B2B platform was introduced in 2015 and already has thousands of monthly users happily enjoying the convenience it presents.

Prashant added: “We are always looking at engaging with our customers in new ways and our online appointments are another example of this.

“We want to let our customers know that we are still here and we are still doing all we can to assist them. We believe that they will be of real value right now in the absence of the face-to-face contact that so many are used to.”
